OUR MISSION

The Mary-Lou Buck Education Foundation is dedicated to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through education, scholarship opportunities, cultural leadership, and community development. Guided by Mary-Lou Buck’s legacy, the Foundation supports future generations by strengthening cultural identity, expanding educational and leadership opportunities and fostering lifelong learning pathways.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Our mentorship programs connect scholarship recipients with experienced Indigenous leaders, professionals, and community mentors. These relationships provide guidance, cultural support, and career advice to help students succeed in their education while remaining strong in identity, culture, and community connection.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The Foundation provides financial assistance to reduce barriers to education and training. Support may include tuition costs, learning resources, travel assistance, and study support, ensuring students have equal opportunity to pursue their academic and career goals.

Our workshops strengthen confidence, leadership capability, wellbeing, and life skills. Programs are culturally grounded and designed to empower participants to become future leaders who support their families, communities, and Nations.
